Does everyone know what metrosexuality is?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrosexual

Well, I think I found the most metrosexual man in the world Saturday night.

He was on a date with a very attractive blond woman; they were seated one table over from us in a restaurant.

He looked like he stepped off a runway or out of the pages of GQ, such were his clothes. MEN turned their heads to glance at him when he came in.

His hair was impeccable and I know a wax job on the brows when I see one. His face was exfoliated, scrubbed, masked, toned, moisturized. He fussed with a cuticle for a bit, seeming to be very angry at it.

He looked around to make sure people were looking at him. Did that a lot. His date was a very pretty woman, but was overshadowed by his gorgeousness. And he seemed to know it.

He kept fixing the break on his pants. Fussing with his collar and looking at his very expensive watch. I swear he hardly looked at his date. His teeth were so white they were blinding.

I write all this only because I was fascinated by him. I didn't stare, but I stole glances whenever I could. I've rarely ever seen a man so into his appearance before--it was truly impeccable.

He was the King of Metrosexuals. Oh and when his date ordered the wine, he turned up his nose, stopped the waiter and said "no not that one, ick.." and then told him which one they would have instead.

So he also seemed like a dick. But an oddly fascinating one.

It is similar to "latte liberal".

Its easy to describe someone as a "dandy" without shoving a "sexual" term under people's noses.

Besides that, I really don't care what web pages are devoted to it. That doesn't make it anything other than a way to apply double-standards to men. RWers in congress have used it as a way to make heteros who watch 'Queer Eye' feel dirty.

-the straight guy", but then discovered the Queer Eye team were actually subterranean crab people. The episode did actually put forward a serious point, that "metrosexuality" is just another hijacking of a minority culture by whitey (or rather, straight-whitey).

Some just do not have a steady hand and it will obviously look shaved. Going to a reputable professional who will listen to exactly what you want done is a better option.
Besides, eyebrow waxing isn't that expensive and the results last much longer.

13. I bought this book Confession of a Metrosexual....
And it was hilareous.....

It was a collection of essays.....

The one that got me rolling was how do you tell if a masuese (sp) is coming on to you.....

And, what should you do when he asks you if you want hime to finish you off....

But the guy who wrote it did keep on saying he kept being asked if he was gay......

So in the end it al comes down to this, metrosexual is just another madison label to further segment us all into marketing niches....

Narcissism is not restricted to men in definition or use. Only its origin from literature is male.

Its like saying the context of "murderer" is male because Cain slew Abel.
