1. I write comedy for a living...
which you would think would make me a happy person but most of the time I'm just pissed off. The people around me seem to really like me, but I still eat bananas as quickly as possible to avoid someone suggesting that I shove it up my ass.

6. I teach kids with learning disabilities.
I've been married for 12 years. I love the novels of John Gardner (Grendel, not 007). I've been in Georgia for almost as long as I was in Oklahoma, which is where I was born in December, 1968. I had cancer when I was 11. I prefer beef and asparagus less cooked than many people would consider. I write poetry sometimes. I drink whiskey and red wine. I listened to "Fables of the Reconstruction" a lot when I was driving to Atlanta for the first time. I was born the day Thomas Merton died.

9. Blah blah blah blah blah blah.
I'm drinking a diet Cherry coke and the nutrasweet accumulation will probably give me cancer when I'm in my 70s.

I have a dog I adore.

I saw "The Island" the other night (movie) and it was AWESOME.

I love to find obscure things on the internet. I'm a member of HRC and the ACLU, among other things.

10. Fushigi Yugi is IMO the greatest story ever told ^^
and Chichiri is my 3rd favorite character from FY (following Tasuki and Nuriko).

Oh! My life! *sweatdrops*

Well I'll tell you that me and my partner love yaoi - hmm - and that I had my picture taken with a Chichiri cosplayer in the girls bathroom of Otakon(I was cosplaying Ran from WK)! ^-^

13. OK some tid bits about me...
or a cure for insomnia.....

Drudgery: I work for an HMO loading provider demographics into one of the central databases. It barely supports my gadget and DVD habit.

I am a gadget-a-holic and buy way too many DVDs.

I love the Grateful Dead

I LOVE Star Wars and have seen the current movie, Revenge of the Sith, seven times. I struggle every weekend about seeing it again. So far I have been able to hold off for the last two weekends.

I just bought a scooter and while I realize we desparately need this rain....I want to go scootering after work!!!

I recently started weight watchers (points system) and have lost 9.8 pounds. I think I have had a drastic psychological change in how I relate to food now. It used to be I felt compelled to finish everything because I was afraid I'd never eat again (I grew up poor and often went hungry so I have had food insecurity issues). I now stop when I am full and take the leftovers home if I have eaten in a restaurant.

Asleep yet?

14. My life is boring
I'm 24. In the past 18 months I have started college, moved to a new city, got married, lost 30 pounds. I stay at home and sit on my computer most of the day trying to finish school early. I am studying criminal justice because I want to be a probation officer. I have a six year old daughter and I like to read mysteries....pretty boring stuff!
