4. Bring it on! At least I can add more layers to stay warm.
Although in my 4 or so years here, the worst it's been has been around -10F or so, with windchills no worse than like -25 or -30.

10. I'm in a wimpy part of the country.
I might be singing a different tune if I lived in Winnipeg. You probably have much more bitter winters in Minnesota than we do here.

3. I laugh in the general direction of your 90 degrees!
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Wait, you don't have air conditioning, do you?

That would suck.

6. We have a window unit which keeps our bedroom cool.
But the rest of the apartment is starting to get kind of warm.

I spent my first 30 years in Kansas where it gets a hell of a lot hotter than this, so I guess I'm just getting soft.

9. The cold weather doesn't bug me nearly as much.
When it's in the teens or below (F) for several weeks in a row, it gets a bit old, but once it's over 20F it's pretty easy to stay comfortable outside. Furthermore the skating rinks are open then.

11. I SO don't miss southern Ontario
when it goes down to 28c at night.

At least it cools off here for sleeping. :P

12. Supposedly it'll get down to 24C tonight.
But for the rest of the week, 34-35C in the day, 24C at night. It's not gonna give the non-airconditioned rooms a chance to cool down. :-(

14. Yikes!

I grew up in a brick house sans air conditioning, only about a mile from Lake Ontario. Whenever I hear of heat like that, I can smell rotting fish on the shore and the Bee Hive cornstarch factory.

Smell is very powerful in us all, indeed.

Ugh.

19. We live a tad less than a mile from Lake Ontario...
but fortunately the smog masks the smell of the fish.
