How come no one ever sends me nasty personal attack PMs?

I mean, other than that one asshole, but that wasn't really nasty, it was just ignorant, and it wasn't really an attack, it was just...........ignorant.

But I hear of some DUers getting nasty attacking PMs from members, but so far, none for me. And I've certainly engaged in my share of unfair and stupid baiting and insulting (and my share of totally justified, let us be honest :-)).

Am I just not controversial enough? Am I not hitting the buttons of the right people in the right way?

Or is it just a GD and GD-Politics thing that brings out the nasty PMs, and since I don't go there, I don't get hate PMs?

12. I got my first nastygram just the other day

And I will forever remember the person who sent it. I did initiate contact with the person, but it was friendly in nature. I did not alert and a few minutes later he/she sent me a note apologizing for the nastygram. I understood because the person was having a really hard time with a lot of people flaming him/her on a thread and probably just needed to tell someone to go fuck themselves. I haven't exchanged posts with this person since then, but I'd like to think we are friends.
