1. Do you like Three Doors Down?

The reason I ask is that some of their tunes seem to be Eaglest at least in the nature of their songs about relationships and love gone wrong. I like some Eagles songs and some Three Doors Down songs. But not all of them.

3. never reallly got into the whole 3 doors down thing.

donno why. the eagles isnt the most complex stuff on earth, but at least most of their songs sound different from one another, most of the 3 doors down singles i hear on the radio i cant tell apart. thier not a bad band, i just never got into thier stuff.

all that being said, when a 3DD song is on the radio, im not tempted to change it. i even sing along when i know the words. i just havent seen it necessacary to drop the $ for any of their CDs.

I like some of their tunes on the radio but never felt compelled to buy their cds. Maybe I'm just goofy with seeing a similarity between the two bands.

6. well there is the whole southern country-rock type of stuff.

ya know... little country, little rock... throw in a blues riff or turn in now and again and you could have either band, the rest being decided by how aggressive they are (as far as a heavy rock sound goes) and the lyrical choices of the singers.

its not all that goofy, really.

7. great song

One of my friends was drunk, passed out in the back seat of a pick up, when the driver was pulled over just outside Winslow, Arizona. The cops woke my friend up then pulled him out of the vehicle. He barely knew what was going on he was drunk so bad. So he somehow muttered to the cop, "where are we?" and the cop said:" You're in Winslow, Arizona."

My friend then started to sing: "Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona such a fine sight to see..."

You get the picture. The cops weren't amused.
