There's real warfare going on here. Call me naive for just now realizing it 2.5 years later. Call me what you want. But there's some serious shit going down here. I think it's time I dragged my ass out of the non-poltical forums. I used to post in the political forums when I signed up to this site. After the election I just plain didn't give a fuck. I think it's time to get back into it.

I have seen some off the wall posts and some downright mean posts but I have yet to see anything so rabid that I've had to hit "alert" or put the person on ignore. However I'm usually in during graveyard hours so I often see lots of deleted messages so I seem to miss all of the vitriol. Perhaps I'm luckier that way.


I have seen some really detestable garbage on other messageboards and that is why I've stopped going to some of them. I hope that doesn't happen here--I really have come to like DU.
