Chicago Illinois...
Is like a shiny toy.
The prairie state is proud to state
That it's its pride and joy.

The Windy City sweeps you clean off your feet
Its charm is complete.
The're knockin' ya flat
This way and that
On every downtown street!

3. I do speak a bit of Spanish....
Here in the Southeast of Texas--not far from the Gulf of Mexico.

Spanish is easier than Vietnamese, Chinese or most of the other languages spoken here.

5. The arm pit of Ohio
That would be the Eastern arm pit that votes Democrat and rest of the state would like to get rid of.

9. In Delaware there are only 2 regions of our state
Upper Delaware and SLower Delaware - the canal divides these 2 regions. We're probably the only state with a true Yankee and Old South mentality within our borders. The canal divides the 2 regions.

When I had my sleep studies done my insurance covered groups in Dover (below the canal) and at UPenn in Philly. Without a doubt I picked UPenn because there was no way I was going to let someone south of the canal do medical work on me :eyes:

But yes, I do know there are some liberal areas in the south and Rehobeth beach definately does not fit the the "Slower Delaware" mentality - it's all just a rule of thumb

12. This Canal
Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 08:08 AM by LynneSin

Edit Note: There are probably more people living north of that canal than south since DE's largest city is Wilmington and we're still technically a suburb of Philadelphia
