Any Apple Mac Mini experts out there?

Wanted to get an Imac, but it's a little pricey, around $1,500, the Mac Mini goes for about $500...anyone own one or know if they're any good?

The $500 mini has only 256MB of RAM, a combo drive, and a single USB port. Allocate another $150 or if you want more RAM or your CD drive to play DVDs. If you're upgrading from an older Mac, also be prepared to replace your keyboard, mouse, and external drives.

After doing the math and weighing the tradeoffs, I decided to upgrade my G3 Power Mac with a G4 processor, a USB/Firewire card, and a Super drive. I don't have as much processing or RAM capacity as a Mini, but I can still use my SCSI port and floppy drive. And since I can still use my ADB port, I'm not "wasting" my USB ports on my keyboard and mouse.

3. If you are a Mac lover and already have monitor, USB keyboard

and mouse, the Mac Mini is great! I have an 80MB and I love it. It's small, silent and whizzes along.
