I sometimes feel compelled to get involved, but it can take hours for an in-depth discussion of the issues complete with charts or data. No fun -- at least not for me.

If I liked flamewars, though, I would hang around the Israel-Palestinian threads. Now there's an explosive issue.

But I'd never do a hit and run. I believe what I type here, and I'll defend it. There are times tho when after 3-4 back and forths I'll decide that the conversation is going nowhere and give the other person the last word.
