I definitely don't support the president, and "Supporting the troops" mantra is just a way to guilt people into supporting the war and to buy cheap stickers from China.

Also, people joined the military out of their volition. I know people are conned into it, and for that they should sue the goverment. But soldiers chose to be soldiers. In fact if anything I think the troops need to support the people, their freedom, and their constitution, because its their job.

We should always give them the armor and equipment they need just like we provide firemen and policemen the equipment they need to do their job. I guess you can call that support, or can just call it common sense. But do I support them? nah. They support me, my neighbors, and my fellow citizens, because that's what they are paid to do.
