Poll question: League that wins AS game get home field in World Series. Like it or not? |
|
The All Star game is an exhibition game and should not have bearing on who gets the home field advantage in the World Series.
Go back to alternating years.

1. Usually a traditionalist... |

For example I don't like inter league play as I think it dilutes the importance of the World Series, but this does seem to put some juice back in the All Star Game!!!

and I thought that the team with the best regular season record had home field for the WS. They alternated every year?

Alternating years was a bad idea, too. The team with the best record should get to have home field advantage in the World Series.
