I had the TV on with the sound down last night and I looked up and it was on. I un-muted it and listened to a few of those people and it was horrible. They can sing, but they are all trying too hard to be "rock stars". It was embarrassing. It was like American Idol on steroids.
From the ones I saw, I don't think any of them would be a good front person for that band, and I'm thinking that this will not help them bring back their career.

is a lady who can actually sing within Hutchence's vocal range (she did "Should I Stay or Should I Go" last night). Still, you're right, it was as if they were all trying too hard.
