1. What about Resevoir Dogs? Or, sweet Jesus, WHAT ABOUT THE WILD BUNCH?
This list is far from complete, though a mightily noble effort, SaveElmer! ;)

7. X3 - You beat me to it.
On surround sound, with the volume at 11, it's unreal.

17. Val Kilmer is not my favorite actor, but his shift from smiling...
''''''ah, we got the job done! money, here we come!!" look of ecstasy to 'F***! The COPS' and blasting away, with split second timing, is a great piece of acting...

of my faves though. :)

5. The shootout
between Lee VanCleef, Clint Eastwood and "the Ugly" (I forgot his name!!! grrrrrr) In The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Sergio Leone had a flair for the over-the-top dramatic. I loved it.

9. I'm partial to the one in "Young Guns"
where Brian Keith's character sits down in the outhouse to try and take out the boys. LMAO

11. Wild Bunch, of course. But I voted for The Long Riders..
...because i've seen the re-enactment and the film is supposed to be a pretty accurate account. Cole Younger (David Carradine) really did get hit something like 12 or 15 times. Went on to found the Prison Mirror in Stillwater State Pen, which still publishes today.

But for sheer embracing of violence and bloodshed, and the good guys (who are murdering thugs) kicking ass on the bad guys, The Wild Bunch can't be topped, especially since it broke so much new ground.
Many, many astonishing scenes in the movie, not the least of which is the opening scene with the red ants and the scorpions...speaking of which, do you think the animal humane society, peta and the other animal rights groups would go nuts over burning ants and scorpions?

12. Yeah I included it because I'm related to one of the cashiers
In the bank. A.E. Bunker was shot trying to run out a back door. Great Great Granduncle.

Great movie though...and Ry Cooders score was outstanding!!!

18. Beginning of John Woo's
Hard Boiled. Guys sliding down three-story bannisters with burp guns in each hand. And that's just the start of the mayhem.

That was the first shoot out I ever saw where I thought "It looks like it really hurts to be shot"
