1. Camp Snoopy is neat

but I don't know how it ranks in the Top 10. Must just be the "different" factor, being totally indoors.

2. Nice to see the love for Kennywood

I've been there at least 20 times. I love it. Potato Patch fries are the best fries I've ever eaten.

5. Loved Kennywood!

I went there every year for our school picnic.
I guess the American Coaster Enthusiasts still rank the Thunderbolt as one of the all-time best coasters.

Disneyland, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Six Flags Astroworld.

And I'm here to tell ya, Astroworld is a dump.

But my fave isn't even listed. SeaWorld San Antonio.

6. Camp Snoopy isn't really that great at all....OVERRATED

Valley Fair, another amusement park located near Minneapolis, is much better, and THAT one isn't even that great.

9. i'm going to Knotts Berry farm next week, never been before but i'm glad

to know the one you went was good. Also going to Universal in Hollywood, but 1st stop will be the LA county museum to see the King Tut exhibit.

I highly recommend Lego Land, ok it's not like a Major ride park but it's very cool.

10. What about...

Joyland in Wichita, Kansas? Or the North Pole in Colorado somewhere?

I grew up near Wichita so trips to Joyland were not uncommon. Every time the roller coaster did a run you could see wood from the tracks it was on break and fall off. Added an extra bit of tension to the ride.

Also once, one of the bumper boats sank. I always thought that should be a feature... push a button and one of the boats sank.

15. Can't say I agree with these ratings

Kennywood is nice in a historic kind of way but most of the actual rides suck and restrooms are concrete bunkers that sweat in the heat. The Old Mill ride has boats that threaten to sink. The staff is young and sullen. Still, they have a great carousel and a Wurlizer band organ, not to mention those great old wooden coasters. Definitely a mixed bag.

Cedar Point has too many scary rides I won't go on.

Magic Kingdom is great unless it's really crowded which it usually is.

Disneyland has had too many things shut down lately-Tomorrowland is a ghost town.

In my book, the best amusement park I've been to isn't in this country--it's DisneySea in Tokyo.
