Windows Updates: Just a reminder that the second Tuesday

of the month - yesterday - Microsoft releases it's updates. For XP both of them are *critical*. Also you may not have to reboot after install.

3. apparently, it's automatic.

(or I may have carelessly consented to that a while back). I was lying in bed reading, when I looked over and saw my machine in the process of rebooting. I was afraid (VERY afraid) that it was another Blaster infection, but then I saw the notice that it was an update & reboot.

Unfortunately, there were several browser pages open to areas of interest, which I hadn't yet noted down. It'll probably take a few hours of Googling to find them again, but ANYTHING is better than that damn Blaster!! Second Tuesday of the month --- I'll commit that to memory. Thanks.

4. I think you can take a look in History and see where you were.

If you take a look at the bar just below the menus there could be a History button to click on.
