Anyone else hear Beck is a scientologist?

Just heard that from my friend, and can't find any confirmation anywhere on the net. Not that it would affect the appeal of his music, just kind of surprising given the progressive, irreverent and kind of counterculture quality of a lot of his lyrics.:shrug:

Regardless, because he doesn't force his beliefs on others he can practice any faith/religion he wants. I still will dig his music to the fullest.
