Poll question: Which city most deserves an NHL franchise??
Now that the NHL's new CBA apparently has been worked out, the result will be teams from the Sun Belt not being able to take it and having to relocate (Hurricanes, Predators, Panthers, etc.) So once whese teams start to relocate, which city do you think should get an NHL franchise first??

2. Other: Vladivostok.

6. Yes indeed.
And it'd be interesting to see how a Russian team fared in league play against US & Canadian teams. Not to mention that the relative novelty of it would provide a bit of a fan interest boost (especially after the whole lockout & season cancellation nonsense).

3. Las Vegas - Fighting and Hockey - what is the difference
They could do hockey matches the same as they do boxing.

Went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

5. Keep in mind folks, that Winnipeg has all the pieces in place.
There's a new 15,015-seat arena with 50 luxury suites located downtown, the fan support is definitely there (it's the biggest hockey city in Canada, IMO), and according to a business form sent out by Darren Ford of JetsOwner.com, there are hundreds of businesses in Winnipeg that would provide ample corporate support.

Here's a website that shows all this:

7. None
There are too many teams as it is. It just dilutes the talent.

8. Winnipeg. Give it to a Canadian city.
Canadians care more about hockey than Americans, anyway.
