Something is clearly wrong with the coffee maker here in the office: the coffee is weakening by the day. Today you could put the carafe on the daily newspaper and just about read the headlines through the brew. How can your basic drip-style coffeemaker *lose strength* like that? Violates every damned bit of physics I thought I knew.

I've also been out of my snobbery coffee at home for the last month. We get these shade-grown arabica beans airlifted from a plantation in Pernambuco, but because of the Philly vacation we let our last order lapse, and we've made do with Chock Full o'Nuts.
