although you are my arch nemesis, I must say that you have good taste in Hockey teams. The Red Wings are my favorite team in any sport, followed by the Orioles.

10. Most teams only have 5-10 players under contract...

and with the cap it's not like some teams can wildly outspend others, so it's a bit premature to guess who's gonna suck this year.

I figure a clean slate after this lockout gives them as good a chance as any...

Anybody but Detroit or Boston PLEASE.

12. Hey, it's lookin' pretty likely that Gretzky is gonna be their coach!
Although still no sign that they're gonna pack up, leave the desert, and move back to Manitoba

The first thing I'd do is pass a rule which states that no NHL who has not won a stanley cup team may call any city south of the Mason-Dixion Line home. Teams not fitting this rule would be moved to cities with more appropriate Climes. Except for the Dallas Stars. I'd have them moved to Either Milwaukee or Madison and renamed the NorthStars once again.

And every hockey fan in the state of Minnesota would curse my name until the day I die.
