The first 60 years of Rod Stewart's life have largely been devoted to raising hell.

But the veteran singer, who has six children by four different mothers, has at last found God and is a changed man, insists his pregnant fiancee Penny Lancaster.

The 34-year-old model, who is four months pregnant with Stewart's baby, says the pair have become church regulars following the September 11 bombing of New York nearly four years ago.

And she says she believes it is Rod's new-found faith which inspired him to take the plunge and ask her to become his third wife after insisting he would never marry again.
