Two techie questions...

1. How can I make my pic of Cindy Sheehan a bit smaller. I feel like it takes up quite a bit of room. It's a pic I found on the Internet(s)

2. How do I set my own personal avatar. Can someone write out exactly what I need to do so I can insert the properties and then copy and paste.




Help. Mr. kt works for an Internet copmany and all I can do is the very basics. HELP ME!!!!!!!!



P.S. I don't have photoshop and can only save pics as a bitmap... not gif or jpeg. I know... get up to date lady! When I have the $$$$, I'll happily update. Right now, I just want groceries and rent... I'm living in *'s economy!

Edit your profile and follow the directions to upload your new avatar. You have to right-click it first and save it to your hard drive.

I use photobucket and it has a neat feature that can reduce the sizes for you. After you upload it, just click edit and reduce it however much you want. Avatars are little trickier because they need to be 48X48-- have to crop it first. They take bmps.

4. That photo of her says it all.

There was a picture on the front page of my newspaper of the father and brother of a soldier who had been killed in Iraq at age 22. Heartbroken. Images can change hearts and minds even more effectively than words.
