I'm sure you'll be fine, like my sister & cousin who both had cysts. My cousin had one of her ovaries removed and then had 2 kids. Before that they couldn't conceive.

18. I had those at 16 years old. Doubled over in pain at ovulation...

They put me on a 'morning after' dose of 'the pill' for 2 months, then 'the pill' for 5 or so years. Eventually they went away, but DAMN...I can still remember the pain.

& ended up having surgery to remove; however they did the laser removal (less outside scarring;only 3 small incisions instead of 1 BIG one)and hasn't had a problem since (4/5 years ago; she's 34 I think)GOod luck!

I had a dermoid cyst removed a little over 3 years ago. Actually, they had to take the whole ovary. Three small incisions, quick recovery time. Now I'm kicking myself for not telling him to take both ovaries and just get this monthly ordeal over with once and for all.
