Poll question: Which were you more excited about Harry or Charlie?
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 08:35 AM by LynneSin
Interesting that they both came out this weekend - the new Harry Potter Book and a true version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in movie form!

or

Me - Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (along with Great Glass Elevator) was my Harry Potter and I'm so excited to finally see a movie that actually read the book and used it to write the movie (unlike that other version - I hated it!)

1. Charlie!
I love the book as a kid (and the movie). I wasn't disappointed with the latest film. I only read the first two Harry Potter books and they're not bad, but I wasn't super into them. My 9 year old son though is beyond excited about the latest Harry Potter book (started reading them in 1st grade). I'm hoping I can get him a copy today. :D

3. I think it's great with the kids and Harry Potter
I mean those books are turning them into future satan-loving heathens!!

:sarcasm:

Actually, I thought it was great all the parents bringing their kids to this big release party at the bookstore. All the kids who pre-purchased the book got a giftbag that included Potter glasses, wants and other goodies. Plus they had readings from the previous Potter books, which unfortunately was setup right next to the nature section.

If I had kids, I would want them to be there in a heartbeat reading the books. But as a single gal - I ended up leaving quickly and buying nothing but the DVD of Pink Floyd's "The Wall"

5. I love Pink Floyd!
I burned a lot of CD's that my ex-husband and I had together during the past few months. The Pink Floyd's were some of my favorites and they're mysteriously "missing". :eyes:

4. Personally, Charlie. But, we were B&N last night to get our copy...
of Harry at midnight. :-) My older 2 kids had a blast. It was a lot of fun, but I am very sleepy now.

Tomorrow, we have a sitter for the baby so we can go see Charlie. Cannot Wait!
