8. G'morning Mrs. Sniffa
I'm happy to know that your mom is doing well ... I wasn't aware that she was having any problems.

definitely gonna smoke a butt

clean ... with parrots and a dog ... I'm always cleaning a little

I'm sure I'll be having a few drinks sometime later and I'm glad one of us is getting lucky today:thumbsup:

Mission Accomplished. I've found goodboy already, and gave him your regards. In fact, we sat next to each other at dinner last night. :)

9. G'morning GOPisEvil
I'm glad that you're together out there. I'm with all of you in spirit, I couldn't have loved Andy anymore if he were my own child.

We've all lost a very special man when we lost Andy

11. I've looked forward to it for months . . .
At the ripe old age of 42, I'm not too keen on the idea of sitting in a huge crowd on the Piazza Grande on a 90-degree July night, even for Lenny Kravitz. But my bedroom balcony overlooking Lago Maggiore should be just about the right distance from the crowd. :hi:

30. The view.
The bedroom balcony is the only place to be this time of year. It's incredibly hot this year (thank you, global warming). Here's the view:

Straight down into the garden

Lenny will be performing on the Piazza Grande across the lake, on the left, where you see a skyline.

I avoid going into situations that I find disturbing if I can because the older I get the more I'm likely to call someone on their bullshit when I hear it. that's just the way it is.

so much love & amusement ... I think it's better to have more than one cat or dog if you can so they won't get lonely while their person is away. My persian cat - Billie used to cry when I went out and left her alone so I kept one of her kittens for company.

 but I've been sneaking a little of it back into my diet here and there. Nothing at all like the 3 mugs of coffee that I used to drink all day long.

I miss the days when I could live on mocha cappuccinos:cry:

32. Cleaning house
A chronic problem, but rendered a bit more important by Mrs. Squeech's idea that we should move to Philadelphia, and for that concept to have any chance of success, I absolutely have to pare down the clutter.

I hope to have a big enough load to make it worth my while to visit the used book store. (Happens I also want to buy some-- more of those silly South Florida modern decadence novels by Carl Hiassen, and I also want to pick up a copy of Animal Farm for my nephew.)
