today, i got the blues...

had daughters and SIL over and told them they had to pick, or not get any to eat. We got these in about 20 minutes before it started raining, and this is only about 1/10th of the ones out there. One bush is so tall, luckily my old VW van is parked beside it, so SIL and I climbed on top and picked the furthest ones. That one bush is loaded, it must be 12' tall.

bananas, strawberries, grapes,mandarin oranges, blueberries smothered in cherry pie filling, topped with whipped cream.

you just pour it over the cut fruit and stir it in.

As I posted in another blueberry-related thread, my partner and I went blueberry picking yesterday. We ate as we picked. We ate as we bagged them for the freezer. We ate them in yogurt for dessert last night.

The point of my post? WHO NEEDS EX-LAX WHEN YOU CAN SIMPLY OVER-INDULGE IN FRESH BLUEBERRIES!!!!????

that's why i talk to the kids while we pick, making them answer...i can tell if they are picking or eating.

Mostly the biggest ones don't make it to the freezer/colander, it's just tooo tempting! Some are almost nickel sized, so you just gotta eat them.
