Wow.. what took me so long? Optical mousies are FABULOUS
It's so cool to not have to keep unlooping that damned cord :)
What other goodies should I be looking into??

I also got an optical keypad.. ultra cool for my spreadsheet stuff :)

What you have is a cordless optical mouse. I don't need to replace batteries and reset stuff.

3. You're mistaking optical for cordless
Optical refers to the red light on the bottom of your mouse that tracks movement instead of a ball. Cordless and optical are both quite nice.

I love it. Using a regular mouse drives me nuts now, they're so light and small.
