I live right on the parade route of the annual Capitol Lakefair parade and this year it seems like flags and yellow ribbons are the theme. I've heard a choir on a float sing the goddamned Lee Greenwood Freep anthem and 3 busloads of National Guard troops are outside my fucking house!

6. Was trapped in the neighborhood and couldn't get to the recruiting center.

And I didn't have enough paper on hand to print a mass distribution of the recruiting app.

My neighbor came up with an alternative plan to drown out the sounds of Freepness. He went from a reggae compilation to some Cambodian music sampler to The Who's Live At Leeds.

Combined with the alcohol and barbecued food, it helped keep the Freep monster at bay :headbang:
