I re-did my Joe Wilson post from earlier....
For my blog. Added a little more.

3:38 pm Politics aside, this is one reason why I like and respect Joe Wilson.....

Last night on a Democratic Underground thread it was pointed out that Karl Rove and the Bush Campaigns always make it a point to attack women.

For example, Theresa Heinz-Kerry was often attacked and portrayed as a daffy ball-buster who was awful and extraordinarily difficult. When in reality, she's intelligent, opinionated and a great philanthropist.

But, as bad as that is, that's really just standard Right-Wing tactics because they fear women who have intelligence and ambition. Most of them want a women barefoot, pregnant, raising a family and making their dinner everyday. Hillary Clinton has been subject to this stuff for years, possibly even decades.

Where it got ugly was in the 2000 primaries when the Rove Attack Machine attacked John McCain, his wife, Cindy, and his daughter in South Carolina. Forget all of the stuff about McCain being accused of having an affair with a black woman and his being too nuts from being tortured in Vietnam etc.

But let's look at what Rove did to his wife. Cindy McCain had a prescription drug addiction at one time. Rove started a whispering campaign about how she was loony from taking all those pills all the time. It was ugly and shameful.........

1. These people are despicable and evil. Heartless, soulless without
a care for anyone else on the planet. Rove will get his come-uppance at long last. Hopefully it will be over this treasonous leak - if not - it will be something else that will topple him.
As for the Repugs attacking women - it shows just how threatened they are and how 'Neanderthal' their thinking (if you can call it that) is.

Keep the faith - this may very well be the beginning of the end for some power-players.

2. As being someone who takes
prescription meds for both my mental illness and fibromyalgia I must say that what Rove did was beyound despicable. He ploughed down anyone who has problems. There is nothing that is above this man and certainly no conscience within his soul, indeed if he has one, if he does it certainly is a dark one.

Oh wells as my mom and my grandfather has told me: What goes around comes around and karma will kick your ass.

3. Ah, but the moral of that story was that McCain embraced all things
rove for the good of the republican party. I guess his wife was expendable. And his adopted kids, who rove also went after.

6. Respect or not the rnc will turn the DSmemo, and Plame outing
to mccain's advantage. He's their next prince. Bet me. These people are not facists, they are feudalists. All money in the hands of very few, and our children are future serfs.

5. McCain should have stuck up for his family
but he was a wuss and didn't.

His problem and Rove will be held accountable for all the things he did in this life so I don't worry too much about him, I'll just let Divine and Karma do it's work.

But Rove does need to leave his office.
