What will future archeologists make of Star Trek/wars memorabilia?
It occurs to me that our culture is rife with printed materials printed in Klingon and that there are elaborately designed and very real props from both Star Wars and Star Trek floating about in our culture right now. What will happen when a 21st Century Klingon bat'leth is discovered by a future archeologist? I can imagine that after years of research on this interesting find, the archeologist will publish a book about an ancient tribe called Klingon once worshipped by - or who possibly visited - ancient earthpeople. Shouldn't the manufacturers of this stuff include a note to future historians that these things are fake?

Ah, what the hell. It will be a big joke on the future, like the made-up stuff about "Egyptians" are today.

2. A thousand years from now...
... they will be seen as the religious icons or trinkets of a long-extinct tribe of people who worshipped plastic. :P

3. I don't know what those talking apes will think of us
I just know that they'll have a hard time believing that humans were smart enough have their own civilization.

5. I don't believe we are smart enough now.
And we are hell bent on proving it.

4. Historical Documents.
They'll kidnap Shatner to fight their enemies (who will clone Ricardo Montalban).
