Smoked cheddar cheese food--yum
mmmm cheap red wine (Rosemount Estate Grenache/Shiraz) and smoked cheddar cheese food and potato chips.

That's balanced, right? :bounce:

1. As long as it isn't too sooty
The smoke flavoring can be overdone. They don't always use the best cheese for cheese food either, especially if there is heavy flavoring, so you don't always get a good complementary cheddar flavor.
For processed cheese, American is always better. Most of the time, they don't think that people care about the cheese though if it is condimented though and cheese food is a cheaper product.

4. No idea... none at all

The thought of sugar and/or cream on grits is completely alien to me although I've seen many people do it.

I like cheddar and bacon along with the salt and pepper. But, being a coastal person, I also like shrimp and grits.

On edit: history buff, same here.

5. I've tried that
sugar and grits thing, might as well eat oatmeal.

Butter and salt is much better.
