On the July 15 edition of Fox News' Hannity & Colmes, co-host Sean Hannity called an underground marijuana factory a "secret liberal lab":

HANNITY: Finally tonight, college has long been called an institution of higher learning. But it seems that some people, well, they may be taking that a bit too far. Now, contractors working on a water main project on the Long Island campus of the State University of New York discovered a massive underground -- get this -- marijuana facility. A factory, actually.

They found three massive underground tanks, each 60 feet long, 10 feet high, each with about 100 marijuana plants growing inside. The university's plumbing and electric lines had been tapped into the water to heat the plants, and the tanks were accessible by a homemade hatch door and a ladder that the culprits used to climb down into their secret liberal lab.

So Sean - if Marijuana is grown in 'Secret Liberal Labs' that means Meth is grown is 'Secret Neo-Con Labs'. And let's face it NO ONE wants to live next to meth labs or crank heads!

..but I love crap like this because it's fun to make fun of an idiot that would make such a stupid comment like Marijuana Labs are Secret Liberal Labs.

First and foremost, I've never done drugs, but I've met alot of people who have. ANd the people who smoke marijuana are some of the smartest, coolest people out there - many of them great progressive thinkers and all of them very talented at their jobs. They just happen to enjoy a smoke the way I would enjoy a glass of wine every once in awhile.

Then I think this - if marijuana labs are secret liberal labs, then what are secret neo-conservative labs. Well that's easy - Meth labs. I mean, think about where crank(meth) has been the worst and it's in red states. These idiots are using Drano and ammonia to produce a substance that they inject/smoke/snort into their system. WHAT KIND OF FRICKING DUMBASS MAINLINE DRANO?

So maybe it's just a comparison of sorts: Liberals who smoke something that God create and is found naturally in nature (well it would be if mankind didn't spend billions of dollars each year to wipe it out) or Neo-Cons who inject a drano-derivative drug into their system.

But yeah, you do have a good point about Hannity!

who smoke/snort meth? Meth is a stupid drug to do. That's a given. However, all of my friends have done it. I've done it. My man has done it. We've all done a large variety of drugs. Fortunately most of us have 100% quit doing meth. Not a single one of my friends are Republican, but we all enjoy/ed altering our minds. It doesn't change our core ideologies.
What you say about meth in red states is true. It is a larger problem in red states. But it's everywhere, in every state, and people of all persuasions are doing it, have done it and quit, or do it occasionally.
Hope I didn't offend. I just don't understand why people associate certain drugs with certain ideologies, because from my experience it just isn't true.
