5. there WAS a 666 highway in E. Arizona

up until a few years ago, in the White mountains through Alpine, I think. Fundies apparently lobbied succesfully to have it changed to something else.

i think more because it was costing them a lot of money in stolen signs, than any fear of being the "route" of evil.
