Wonderful- Two dead dogs tossed in front of my house.
What the hell is wrong with people? I don't know how they died but some genius decided his animal disposal problem should become mine. The road I live on has no homes nearby and I can't see the road from my house. I am leaving today and see these two dogs down in the ravine. Both are about 50-60lbs each, I don't know what bread yet as I am just about to go up there and bag them up.
They had to have been dumped last night because there are no buzzards around yet. I would leave them for the birds but I have 6 dogs of my own and don't want them up by the road messing with dead animals that might have had some kind of of illness.
So, off I go to handle some dead dog. I have come to the conclusion that a vast majority of people in our society are worthless meat puppets who have no right to call themselves human beings.
I have half a mind to take these two dogs out to the main road into town and leave them right there. It would please me greatly to have the former owner have to drive by the rotting bodies for a few days.

RANT OFF!

3. Not this late in the day.
I know they will pick up dead cows and horses for farmers but it takes them two or three days to get it done. (You should see what a cow looks like after three days in the hot sun!)

8. Might call the police.
It's possible the person who dumped them isn't their owner. Be good to check them for tags, collars and identification chips.

Regardless, some people just plain suck.

Thanks to you for taking on your task. It's possible what you do will be the most kind act they have experienced in their lives.

9. Well, its done.
It looks as if they were 2 or 3 year old males. I found their chains tossed down there but no tags or collars. There were no visable wounds. I will post something down at the local store- maybe "found- two white male dogs, found on July 20th- pls call ......" That way if they were taken from the owner and killed at least the owner will know what happened to them.

There is no interest from animal control, they didn't seem to care. I will call the Sheriff and report it just for the record.

11. Ding, ding, ding. Post of the day, right here.
1. Yes, please call the cops. They might have been microchipped or have tats. They may have people that are missing them, too. This is a crime, and a report should at least be taken.

2. Yes, some people suck in a huge way.

3. You may very well be showing them their VERY FIRST act of kindness, and for that, may karma come back to you tenfold.

Number 3 is why I think this is the post 'o the day, as that's important.

10. Dinner! Or at least freeze it for a rainy, beefless day...
You're right re: people, however. It's a pity the good ones have to suffer with them, but that's life.
