it is not funny at all. I have a relative who is handicapped (can't walk) who was brutally raped. Her faith said that she should have the child, but her physical condition was such that she could well have died or been handicapped further if the child had been carried to term. She made the choice to abort. I am darned glad she could make the choice. The cops laughed it all off as "she was lucky she had a good time"-bungled the evidence and NEVER found the rapist.
