Damn. The freeps are out tonight.
I posted an innocuous thread recommending Susan Faludi's book Backlash (discusses the antifeminist backlash in the media, in society, etc.).

So one guy posts a comment, and then, bam, his comment is gone...

And I search the username, and lo and behold, a freep who's posting threads like, "Is it possible to be feminist and pro life" and "Just be glad Bush didn't nominate Roy Moore."

Could these guys be more obvious?

Have you encountered any of them today?

1. freeper!
sorry, I couldn't resist. There have been a lot around in the past week though trying to fit little defenses of Rove in. They're getting antsy & it's not just their acne meds talking either.

2. His second post was in my thread over there
I spotted him immediately. My reply kind of gave that away, lol.

4. Good for you.
His question in my thread was fine...nothing freeperish about it. But I guess he got really freepery in some other threads, so they are pulling his comments from all threads.

3. I thought...
That the feminist post was going to lead to a good conversation.

6. Oh I see now
All of the Freepers posts were deleted because of another post in another thread. Gotcha

8. Yeah, all the current events are making me want to pick it up again.
That book by Elizabeth Fox Genovese, too, on feminism...she's an antifeminist. It's instructive into how the other side thinks.

9. great book, changed my life...
I read it the year I graduated from hs. It cemented everything I thought I knew, and I was right! (it also made me LOVE Ann Richards, no holds barred)
