Anyone With a Juice Extractor Have Any Good Juice Recipes? |
|
I bought a juice extractor from a co-worker yesterday. Unfortunately the book didn't come with it. I trying to find a juice cocktail that will replace my morning pot of coffee.

1. You want to know something - you can blend ANYTHING in the juicer |
|
Here's some things I've learned from the few months with a juicer.
To mask the nasty taste of vegetables, add an apple or pear to the juice mix.
Beet Juice is like this amazing juice for you body but don't drink it straight. I usually have a Carrot/Beet Juice drink for breakfast a few times a week. BTW, if you add brocoli to the mix you will NOT taste the brocoli

6. Beet juice is awesome.... |
|
I feel healthier the minute I drink it, but it is tough all by itself.
I like to juice a little ginger in drinks sometmes. It gives an interesting kick of flavor.
One of my faves in the summer is watermelon juice. Juice the whole thing, rind and all. It is very refreshing.

7. funny story: I made a big glass of juice featuring beets. Later that day |
|
I had my mid afternoon constitutional and just about had a heart attack. The toilet bowl appeared to be filled with blood. I thought "Oh my Gawd, I'm hemorrhaging." Nope, just the beets.

I haven't tried any spices because the buzz is great as is.
And no, I don't measure them either. Great way to get rid of that celery too!
