Is studying Constitutional Law still relevant? |

Have to study it for the multistate portion of the bar exam. Because Bush and his cronies have torn it to shreds and used the Constitution as toilet paper, do I really need to spend that much time?? Isn't it like chasing the wind?

1. It's still part of the game |

as far as the bar exam is concerned.....at least that's what my legal-beagle friends tell me...it's sort of kabuki dance you still have to go through because we're still pretending the constitution matters.

get back to the books ;)
BTW - it is still relevant because once those assholes are imprisioned, we will need Con Law in order to restore the constitution. :D

3. Since you have studied it, you should know thats hyperbole. |

There are some parts of it where Bush has really pushed things (guantanamo), but not further than at times in the past (Dred Scott, Korematsu ring bells?) and we can certainly swing the pendulum back if we could just win a few elections.
