The house is empty except for me and the cats and the bird

It's just that right now I should be getting attacked by two kids wanting dinner.

I know that I need a break from saying "Stop that, put that down, don't touch her, don't touch him, don't say that, come here, get off of that, get away from that, leave that cat alone!"....But I miss my kids already.

7. I don't have kids, but hubby travels on business. If he's gone over a

weekend I do something special for me. I go shopping, cuz he hates to shop, or get a book I've been dying to read and curl up and just read non stop for like a day. And I eat all the stuff I love and he hates. It helps me. He's gone right now and it has been a long week.

8. Well, they're gone for two weeks on vacation to another state

Kids and husband. I have plans to clean the carpet while they're gone, but not today.

9. Damn you party. Why not take a bath with a glass of wine and read a

great book. Spoil yourself.

That's the one thing that I really need to get accomplished while they're gone. I'm also going to a Helping Democrats Get Elected meetup and a DSM Meeting on Saturday.

No wine, I'm allergic to grapes. I'm watching my West Wing DVDs right now, I have three seasons. I can follow that up with two seasons of Law and Order.

6. He's been fed

It is currently his nap time, since it's quiet! His cage has a built in bird bath on the side. After he flaps all of the water out of it, he sleeps in it. I think he thinks it's a nest box that sometimes floods.

12. That probably wouldn't be a good idea

Several mini blinds in my house have cat holes in them. The cats bent them until they broke, making a hole big enough for one cat head. The neighbors might have fun if I was running around naked.
