xm radio questions

How do I install the antenna on my car. Do I string the wires through the sun roof, the hatchback window, or some other way?

Is there anyway to easily move a "roadie" from the car to the house?

What's the best deal I can get for monthly service?

(It's not my fault I'm mechanically impaired, my Dad was tired out from teaching my older brother and sister how to do things, and gave up on me.)

I don't know how to get the best deal....

We have the antenna on the trunk, and have strung the wire through the crack between the back seats. I guess this would only work if you have split-fold down seats in back. You can get the antenna installed at a Best Buy or some such place. BB would've charged us just $15. As long as the wire doesn't have any really sharp kinks in it you should be okay. What I mean is, don't slam two metal edges on it. You can shut a door or a hatch on it if there are those thick, spongy rubber strips on the edges.

To use the roadie in the house you can buy an XM boom box. They're still pretty pricey - ours was $200. But it comes with an antenna that can catch signals through the roof of the house. :bounce:
