7. I get army issue boots from the surplus stores
the last two pairs lasted about five years each and they cost about half the price of Docs.

9. Some of the best shoes in the world...
and they wear like iron. The Gibson oxfords are quite comfortable, and work equally well with jeans and a t-shirt or khakis and a blazer.
