Does anyone get that stubborn pop up when opening DU ?

We have great pop up protection but this one is determined to get thru. It does'nt happen everytime I come to the site but often enough. :shrug:

1. I did get one at one time. Do you remember what the popup

I close it with a right click.

But this is the only place I get one. I thought it was odd.

7. Make sure you have popups blocked for this site. Some of the

popup blockers let you customize each site.

2. Popup? What's a popup?

The only ones I get are the irritating Flash popups (which are unblockable).

Also, I don't come to DU through the main page; I have the main forum page bookmarked, and use that instead.

Yes pop up flash ads. I get here from google.

good way to bypass the popup, and easier than having to search for DU every time you come here...

But sometimes I get a server not found page or can't open that site or something.

12. I use the Firefox browser and have a good popup blocker

program. This is the only popup I get. Makes no sense.

It's one of those "YOUR COMPUTER MAY BE IN GRAVE FUCKING DANGER" ones

They want you to "check" it with their product. It pisses me off.

even with popup blocker it finds its way around it from time to time. I use spybotkiller to kill it off. I think it is an internet explorer related popup.

i havent been able to get rid of it as of yet, though. i use several spyware programs... so... i donno.
