An Ohio arrestee goes for the gold in classic mug shot
JULY 21--Meet Patrick Tribett. The Ohio man was nabbed yesterday morning for "abusing harmful intoxicants" as he attempted to make a purchase at Bellaire's Dollar General Store. The 41-year-old Tribett, it seems, had been huffing spray paint and needed a refill. According to a Bellaire Police Department report, Tribett's pupils were constricted and he replied slowly to their questions. Oh, and "officers observed the paint on face and hands," as can be seen in the below mug shot. Tribett, who was previously busted for assault, domestic violence, and inhaling harmful intoxicants, was booked into the Belmont County Sheriff's Office lockup. (2 pages)

I first saw huffing done at a party I went to in High School. Mind you, I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and these kids put gasoline in a hefty bag and were inhaling the fumes.

Needless to say that was the last time I went to a high school party, I will admit I was a bit of a snob.

This guy should be embarassed. He probably has kids, maybe from a couple different moms and those kids are going to have to live through the embarassment that their dad inhales bizarre chemicals and had a mug shot with gold paint all over his face.

It's ALexander 'Sideways' Payne's first movie and it's hilarious as can be. Laura Dern plays this huffer who finds herself pregnant again with her 5th child (the other 4 are being raised by her sister since Ruth is homeless). The movie also portrays an honest view of both the pro-choice/anti-choice movements because Dern's character is forced by the judge to get an abortion.
