That guy was playing anywhere he could. Outhouses, train and auto wrecks, phone booths...in some of the most podunk towns in the country. When I say podunk, I mean podunk. And he never changed his act.

I suspect the fundies got a lot of their energy from Allin and his effect on their kids.

He played a small punk venue in Memphis in the late 80's called The Antennna. He stuck a Shure 58 (ball mic) up his ass then pulled it out and stuck it in his mouth!. There were women throwing up outside on the sidewalk afterwards. It wasn't pretty from what I heard.....they still talk about it down there....lol
