They're telling my neighbor that her service is all set up and all she needs to do is flip a switch in some box that does not appear to exist. They won't come out to show her where the box is (if it does exist, nobody knows about it) unless she pays $100 for the service call. Mewanwhile they're charging her for phone service she can't use.

How the hell is the phone line all set up when she can't use the phone? What kind of customer service is that?

Also my DSL is fucked up again. I shudder to think how that call is going to go.
