Sick of studying - bring on the stupid exam!!

1. I'm taking the Cal Bar Exam this next Tuesday.

I decided a few days ago to just stop being grumpy with my hubby and kid.

My 8-year-old told me she wanted the old mom back (me before studying).

Unfortunately, this is my third time (I'm an old lady - 47).

But I'm going to keep trying until I pass!

I'm studying wills and trusts too right now.

I'm not feeling as confident as you are!

3. Oh, you poor thing!

They say California's is the worst (I'm in Texas). I'm not confident at all; I just don't see myself learning anything new (although I still have a fair amount of Commercial Paper and Secured Transactions to stuff into my head, not to mention Oil & Gas). I'm old too - I'll be 43 next month. I don't really expect to pass this time, but we'll see what happens.

I can relate!

I retired from social work five years ago - to spend time with my child and to go back to law school.

What a long strange trip it has been!

But a few months ago, I was offered a law clerk job with my old friends; I hope to be an attorney for them one day.

Oh, well, we have it all in our memories! We're going to ace it!
