Cholox: ripoff or miracle ? Hi friends

Hi friends, long time no post, still posting in gd bigtime. I hope everyone is doing great in here. Question: is Cholox a ripoff or a miracle ? Supposed to lower cholesterol 30 points or so, it's a pill. Thanks in advance.

7. My cholesterol is through the roof. 30 points isn't going to help.

I halved it. Now I need to halve it again. Triglycerides were 700 something. Don'tcha hate when that happens? :)

Sounds to me as though you might need aggressive anti-cholesterol medications. Diet and exercise (as you can do it) will also help a lot. Please take care of yourself! We've lost way too many good DU'ers this year...we need you!

I know I have health problems and I'm trying to address them one by one. First I have to get my diabetes under control. That's going pretty well. I already halved the triglycerides, but they're still too high.

You're right. I need to exercise, but neck pain has been interfering. For some reason, I had a lot of neck pain this week. I hope it's just the healing process and that everything is still in the right place. :scared: I don't want another operation.

Do you have a dietician or nutritional expert you can talk to about diet and medications? Or maybe your doctor? When you go for your next check-up, do ask about these things...I'd have someone look at the neck pain, if I were you...

15. Because I was full of Vicodin and other drugs, I walked in the heat

to see my doctor a couple of weeks ago. He didn't do anything for the pain even though I asked him to. He said he didn't have anything on hand to help, so he just looked at my neck and sent me home...back through the heat. He said it was probably just tight muscles. :shrug:

A couple of days ago, I almost decided to see if someone in emergency would X-ray me, but with Medi-Cal, it's almost impossible to get diagnostic tests. I get tired of beating my head against the wall.

I could call UC Davis, but they probably can't see me until my next appointment date at the beginning of August. Poor patients aren't very profitable.

UC Davis tried to kick me out the morning after my surgery, before I could swallow, before I was off the morphine. The lady who was with me was panicking because they were saying they were going check me into a motel. I knew that, legally, they couldn't release me unless I had a ride. That got them off her back. But geez, they were pressuring her and me to LEAVE. Here, swallow this huge horse pill...I couldn't even swallow apple sauce.

I just had a rant, didn't I? :)

Hehe...I don't trust / like most doctors.
