13. I got my tongue pierced about 5 years ago.

Rinse your mouth out a lot with a good alcohol-free mouthwash - I used Biotene.

Drink a lot of bottled water for about a week - tap water often has crud in it that might cause an infection.

Now you can accessorize your tongue - have fun!!!
