All time favorite song?
Mine used to be Unchained Melody till some butt wipe out it in a b movie. This was my second, and now favorite. Why did Motown die?

One of MY favourite things. Actually, just about any Astrud Gilberto.

Seriously, though, I could never come up with a single favourite song.

45. Just for you.
The Sound of Music Soundtrack Lyrics
Artist: Maria Lyrics
Song: My Favorite Things Lyrics
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

11. I guess if I had to pick one Life Is A Celebration
by Rick Springfield. Was on one of his earlier lesser known albums "Wait For Night"

but I also love "In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics

"Hero" by Mariah Carey (Laugh if you want but hearing that one actually helped pull me out of a really dark spot in my life once.)

Shades of Gray and also Sometime In The Morning by the Monkees

"Blowing in the Wind" Bob Dylan

Siberian Cantru or what ever the name of that song was. I just googled it, and nothing. The Yes fanatics at Mich Tech told me that you don't know Yes till you understand that song. Huh?

There is no real understanding. Frankly, I'm not sure even Yes understands it, totally.

It might be more about taking a stab at it, feeling satisfied, and enjoying the emotions that well up inside you as a result.

What a great song!

Sing, bird of prey
Beauty begins at the foot of you

:)

29. I can remember "Unchained Melody" being wildly popular 3 times
First in the 50's when the movie "Unchained" came out (I think it's the best version); second when the Righteous Brothers first recorded it in the 60's; and then when the movie "Ghost" came out. Who knows? Maybe there'll be a fourth.
