:scared:

When did THIS happen? I think it was Stephen ( I only pay attention to Alec), on TBN talking about living his life for Christ.

Was I imagining things?

When I saw him a while back, talking about being 'born again' I thought it was a joke. That he was just screwing around for the Stern audience. He wasn't kidding?

Wow--

1. Nope.
He's all fundie or evan now. He's the last one I would have thought of but he did it. I think he was at the GOP convention last year (seems like I read that somewhere).

2. That's just so wrong.
I sincerely thought it was some sort of sick joke.

Ugh--why does being born again, equate to 'GOP fundie?'

:wtf:

Stephen Baldwin: conservative and born again Christian.
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 06:16 AM by Heidi
I've got nothing against born-again Christians or any other religious genre. But the conservative thing gives me pause.

7. That's what I mean--isn't taking on religion
a separate issue altogether from the GoP?

One does not have to be synonymous with the other does it? I mean we have Christian members of DU that don't subscribe to the boy king's recruitment manual.

9. I think Alec's political stance almost makes up for Stephen's.
It was just kind of weird. He had an odd look in his eye-I don't know kind of Stepfordish.

Oh and then there's Daniel--alcoholic, pill popping, maniac. Not sure where he is politically, but I have a feeling he ain't no fundie. LOL!

10. At least Alec has been nominated for an Oscar and a few other awards
One OScar (The Cooler)
Four Emmy (Guess on Will&Grace, Path to War, Nuremberg & Streetcar Named Desire)
Four Golden Globes (The Cooler, Path to War, Nuremberg & Streetcar Named Desire)
One Razzie (Cat in the Hat)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000285/awards

Stephen's career
No Oscars
No Emmy's
No Golden Globes
One Razzie (Fred Flinstone in Vegas)
Although he was part of a 'Best Ensemble' for Usual Suspects. You eliminate that movie and Stephen has pretty much had a crap career based on being related to Alec

12. So true--I just love Alec's work...
Pete's Schweaty balls on SNL still cracks me up--and his stint as the troop leader that accosts canteen boy.

I just love Alec. :loveya:

It's funny you mention this, though. In the breif moment I saw Stephen he was saying how he's so happy living for Christ. Whereas before he was so focused on living for himself, focusing on his career, money, etc. I guess it's easier to live for Christ when your career is in the dumper.

:eyes:

;)

btw, did you see Will Farell on SNL w/Queen's of the Stone Age. He did Cowbell during 'Little Sister.' I wasn't expecting that at all...
