How do you capture a screenshot on your computer?

I want to save a screen image from the web. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

1. You need to hit alt print screen

and then paste it into Paint. Then you can crop it and do what you want with it.

At least that is how I do it.

2. I think it's just print scrn.

In any event I've never had to push "alt" first.

I didn't need to hit alt. Just print scrn, then open paint and edit/paste. Works like a charm.
